1972 Chevrolet C50 Short Wheelbase Truck

Whether you're buying a six-figure Icon or building your dream car in your garage, the whole point of customization is having something no one else has. This 1972 Chevrolet C50 is the definition of unique — despite its stock appearance, Chevrolet never made one. 10 feet — five feet behind the rear axle and five feet in front — were cut out of the frame and an eight-foot period-correct bed installed in the original's place. The result is a truck with brutal proportions that looks even bigger than it already is. Under the hood is a 5.7-liter Chevy V8 with a rebuilt carburetor that drives the two-speed rear axle via a four-speed manual. That gives you eight forward gears — a low-speed set for heavy payloads and a high range for normal driving. The older restoration has held up well and the truck has been freshly serviced and is ready for whatever its new owner has in store.
