Hang in there buddy. It'll be ok...
That's a tough one especially since the 1st rule of Fight Club is ... you can tell no one about Fight Club. My suggestion. Go to a few bars, get in fights, win the fights, and wait for an invite.
Even if you could find one, their premise is fairly silly. If the fighting isn't serious it's just a couple of men rolling around without regulation, you may as well take up wrestling and drop the pretense. If the fighting is serious and there are repeated bare-knuckle punches connecting with faces the chances are that after a couple of punches the participants will end up with broken noses, jaws, cheekbones, teeth, etc. If fights happened the way the happen in movies, they'd be over in less than 15 seconds.
Find an MMA gym and if you can't find that look for a Crossfit/Crossfight gym.
Take up Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, but if you are looking for more of the Project Mayhem thing try The Cacophony Society
You may already be a member.
hang out at gyms alot and ask the toughest looking people you see,
If you want to get hurt, here's an idea - Stand a few feet away from a concrete wall (such as at a park, play ground, or municipal building - even the side of a Walmart will do) take a bat and then hit a basketball at the wall - now don't move - you'll break your nose in no time. Fighting is silly and should only be used as a last resort - i.e. If you or someone else is in danger. I enjoyed both the book and film Fight Club, however I think the author missed the point a bit - Random violence - beating someone senseless, peeing in food, blowing things up - That has nothing to do with manhood; it is actually the stuff that an overgrown teenage man-child would think is funny. If you are looking for an archetype of manhood, skip Tyler Durden and look to Spartacus, Maximus, Benjamin Martin or Tom Destry (played both by James Stewart and real life bad-ass Audie Murphy) all men who could fight like hell, had a sense of responsibility and had a tender heart toward those they loved.
Okay, and this is a voice of experience, I'm 2-2 in MMA (mixed martial arts) and in my experience if you want to fight or "test yourself" the best this you can do is seek out a local fight club (note this is usually a BJJ - Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Club that has an MMA program) and start taking classes. If rolling around on the ground with another grown man, in PJs or just a pair of shorts, isn't your thing check out a local Muay Thai club.
Get in the gym, get into shape, train hard and fight. My first professional fight was years ago in a hockey stadium with a few hundred people paying to watch a bunch of guys fight, had I fought a few years earlier I would have fought without gloves but thankfully this event used gloves. The sport and society has evolved now to the point where amatuer events, smokers and even the opportunity to spar with someone training for a fight will give you that "test" you're looking for.
If on the other hand you just want to get punched in the face......go hit on some big guy's girl at the bar this weekend and enjoy the results.
Actually Fight Clubs do exist...

The first rule of Fight Club is, you do not talk about Fight Club. The second rule of Fight Club is, you DO NOT talk about Fight Club.
