From one bald guy to another, I recommend first using nothing less than an spf of 30. What I've found to work great is a brand called Kinesys. It comes in 4oz. almost transparent/white spray-on bottles. Here is all the good stuff, It's fragrance free, preservative-free, oil-free, alcohol-free, PABA-free. It contains antioxidant uva/uvb protectantion, parasol 1789,which is a broad spectrum protectant, and is very water and sweat-resistant. What's nice about the spray is that it does not sting after you shave and it moisturizes nicely. The only down size is the cost, It is a little more pricier than most but I think the protection and performance it gives you far out ways the cost! Kinesys

I'm a head-shaver (genetics prompted) and I'm fairly dark-skinned, so if you require a higher SPF, this may not be for you. However, I use Purpose - it's a lotion (good for the head), doesn't clog your pores (cause head-zits SUCK) and has SPF 15.
Gotta try the products from Headblade. That's all they do -- specialize in products for bald dudes. Of course, including Sunscreen.http://www.groominglounge.com/headblade.html
Go with either Sharps Bald Head Balm Sunscreen or Headblade HeadLube SPF 30 Both work great and will keep the dome nice and protected.
The best sunscreen for your head that you can use everyday is a product called Sundition. I've been using it for years and it's specifically designed to be used through thinning hair without leaving it greasy. I have a buzz cut and don't like to wear hats, so when a play 18 holes I only need to apply Sundition once before I leave the house and again at the back 9 and I'm golden! I know it works because sometime's I miss the button area below my neck and it gets fried, where my head, face, neck, ears and nose look tan with no burn at all. Glad I found this stuff and you will be too. Alcohol free, absolutely non-greasy (you don't even need to wipe your hands after putting it on). Get it here http://www.sundition.com/?Click=1906
Try CUE SHIELD protects your Bald Head in the sun. enjoy life and use Cue shield and minimize your risk of sunburn, skin cancer and a long lasting happy bald life.
Tolsom is meant to work everyday, and I've never gotten burned wearing it yet.

I've been using Neutrogena Moisture for 20 years. It's great for your skin, and has spf 15 built in. Dermatologists love the stuff.
