Arm & Hammer Ultra Max Antiperspirant Deodorant Clear Gel. I swear by this stuff, even buying it in bulk online since it's kind of sketchy in my area.

It's clean, clear and not harsh on the skin at all.

Orson is onto something here. I don't wear cologne very often, but one thing I do appreciate is the ability to good without smelling perfumed (think clean laundry.)

Arm and Hammer's "Essentials" deodorants are relatively unobtrusive scents that get the job done -- and they're aluminum and paraben free so you don't have to worry as much about your anti-perspirant giving you Alheizemers or any of the other tenuously-linked health risks.

Smells light and clean, is inexpensive, and can be found anywhere.

I used to sweat pretty heavily so I tried the Gillette Clinical Strength line (Artic Clean and Ultra Comfort) and both are pretty subtle. It's also really effective, but in order for it to be most effective, you put it on at night before you go to sleep (morning use is optional). Almost undetectable scent-wise but very effective for preventing sweating.

CertainDri is a little more effective than all the P&G Clinical Strength offerings. P&G Clinical Strength just ups the percentage of their active ingredient. CertainDri uses a different active ingredient. This product is also applied at night, but is also unscented. It is effective enough that it can be applied every other day. I could never do that with the various clinical strength anti-perspirants. In the morning after my shower i use the Crystal mineral deodorant, also completely unscented.

Botox. Get it under your arms and you won't sweat there for 6 months. Plus your arm pits will like like a baby's.

Anything by Arm & Hammer works great. I use the deodorant/antiperspirant in the summer, and their natural deodorant in the winter.

Gillette Clinical Strength All Day fresh is the best! I sweat doing anything, but when I put this stuff on the night before, and in small amounts, the whole next day I am dry! Plus the scent is not overpowering during the day, just enough to cover any other odors! A little pricey at almost $10 a stick, but if you are used to having wet underarms and shirts, this is well worth it!

I personally like Mitchum, aside from the strength to cover up the smell...it is one of the only antiperspirant I have found that does not stain my White shirts in the typical yellowish color. Not to mention that you can skip a day of use.

Enlightenment has got it 100% right. I had the same experience, I suggest going with what he said.

Like the previous post... Certain Dri, no doubt. I am about 370 and sweat like a hog and this stuff in the ONLY stuff that works. Plus you only have to apply about once every three days before bed. I has no scent so you dont have to have your deodorant in competition with your expensive cologne.

I use and swear by Kiehl's Superbly Efficient Anti-Perspirant and Deodorant. It is unscented and comes in a cream form that gets down to skin surface very effectively. It also does not leave white marks on clothes. I live in south Texas where it is always hot and I never have a problem with underarm sweating using this product. I also recommend taking a clipper to the underarm bush and thinning the forest a bit. It helps to keep things cooler and does allow any antiperspirant product to be delivered to the skin surface to be more effective.

Gillette Clinical Strength can help you if you worry about excessive perspiration (who doesn't?). It provides 34% better wetness production then prescription products and was the winner of the Men's Health Grooming Awards 2008. The best antiperspirant money can buy without a prescription is Maxim Antiperspirant. See that period? It's. The. Best. Antiperspirant. Read the testimonials. I probably wrote one a few years ago, and my shirts really would look like the guy's on the main page. You use this stuff at night, rather than in the morning, and it WILL stop sweat.

It's unscented, but it works to block sweat, not mask odor. You could probably stop using any kind of drug store deodorant/antiperspirant after using this stuff, so your cologne or aftershave should stand out.

FYI-Your pits will itch like mad when you wake up, so don't use it during the day!

Try Sweat Block: http://sweatblock.com/

You only need to apply it once a week at night before you go to bed and you'll be dry for up to 7 days depending on how much you normally perspire. It has no fragrance so it won't conflict with your cologne or after shave.

Other products like this one cause underarm itching but this one was formulated to minimize itching (I barely notice it after the first time)and you only have to apply it once a week.

Without a doubt the best antiperspirant I have ever used is "Lab Series Anti-Perspirant Deodorant Stick": http://www.groominglounge.com/ls-apds.html. It provides all day long protection from wetness and there is literally no scent, allowing you to freely splash or spray on that cologne or body spray without clashing scents. Don't wear with black clothing, however, as it will leave white residue.
