Tell her that you had a pretty rough day, and you'd love to blow off some steam; invite her to go mini-golfing or to a batting cage. If she's not super sporty, let her know you're thinking of going on a hike on a Saturday morning, and ask if she'd like to come along.

I always here people say don't date where you work. I've done it and its worked out and my roommate is currently continuing a relationship he started at our old job. That rule only applies if you think you will have a bad break up with someone you will have to keep working with. Just ask her because if she likes you whatever rules she has about not dating at work will go out the window. If this is like a retail job go for it but be very cautious if this is a career.

Assuming you are both mature enough to not let it cause any issues in the office, go for it. History (mine at least) has shown that office romances only work IF both of you are having an affair and want nothing else out of the relationship. I've never had an affair but the only women to ever be interested in me during my office stints were the ones in relationships...

That aside, an office provides a great environment for dating tactics ;)

Without seeming like you are stalking her, leave her little notes and don't say they are from you. Use things that you notice about her to woo her. Music she likes, movies she likes, chocolates she likes, etc.

keep it simple

Start talking to her (preferably outside of work, through IM, facebook, phone, text messages, whatever), if you're already at that point, just ask her if she'd like to do (blank) with you. If she's been talking to you, she'll say yes.

THINK with the HEAD on your SHOULDER'S!

If you decide to do this always make sure your Employer "allows" employee's to date each other, some don't allow it at all which might cause someone to be FIRED!
