I have had several different running headphones over the years and these are the best . They're cheap, so if they stop working eventually due to sweat, or I lose them at the gym, I won't care much. They sound pretty good. Due to the wraparound thing, they stay on my head even if I accidentally yank the cord with an arm swing. They have a little clip for your shirt to keep the cord from flying all over the place. When I sweated a ton, my old sony headphones would stop working but that hasn't happened with these. Nice product.

I like the Philips SHS3200/37. I use them all the time and have never had a problem with discomfort/sound/sweat, even through a marathon. They are very inexpensive and can usually be found at local retailers.
I run nearly every day, rain or shine, and the best pair I have owned are the Bose In-Ear Phones. They never fall out with movement or sweat and have the best audio quality I've heard. you can find them by searching bose in-ear hadphones or at http://www.bose.com/controller?url=/shop_online/headphones/audio_headphones/in_ear_headphones/index.jsp
The Sony MDR-EX81 has good base for buds, stays in your ear and has a buil-in Mic so if you use your phone to double as a walkman then this works perfect. Plus its only $30....
Honestly, if you want some good headphones that will last for a while and are good, I would look for jbird. While these headphones are not cheap ($150-200), they are sweat proof, and they are wireless. They are really good.

I've had some Sennheiser MX 85 for a few years and they worked great. This new design looks even better (washable) bc sometimes the ear gunk can get a little grodey before you clean them.
They stay in your ear really well and have a few different ear sizes that they come with.
Cheers.
