I am loving the P90X workout and have to agree with the previous posters - you really have to commit if you want it to work. The best thing is that if you were someone with a good body who let things slide and packed on a few pounds, doing P90X will show results quickly thus causing a domino effect of wanting to continue with the program.

I was a model back in my younger days and always stayed physically fit but after our baby came I stopped working out and ate horribly for two years. Started P90X about 8 weeks ago and even though I was about 80% committed (doing the 6 day workout over 8 or 9 days) I saw results pretty quickly. Doing the associated food plan also helped with dropping the pounds.

I think I only have maybe another 2 or 3 weeks left until I am back to my "old" model body. Never thought about 3 months of workouts could reverse 2 years of damage.

I have a copy of the abs disk and it works very well, if you stick to it every night. It's also a very intense workout to start out with if you haven't kept in shape. Although, if you're bunched for time it's perfect because the disk only runs for 18 minutes or somewhere around that time. It's a very good workout, but you just need the dedication.

I just finished P90X last week – that is, the full three month program. And I'm going straight into it again, for at least another round. I'm 31, and I'd been treating my body like crap for a couple of years. A buddy of mine started doing it, so I did too. It's really motivating to do the program along with someone else – we compare stories of our first time doing Plyo or how much weight we're losing, etc. And the host is entertaining and motivating without being cheesy – we quote lines from the workouts all the time, haha.

I've lost 30 pounds, my muscles are hard, and I am fitter than I've ever been. My confidence is up, my blood pressure is down and I feel great. It's not easy – the first workout nearly killed me, but now after 90 days, I can power through that same workout (it still kicks my ass though!)

I'm going to do another 90 days because I've gotten addicted to the positive changes I'm seeing. It's amazing how quickly your body starts changing and becoming better. My girlfriend loves the changes too, and I feel so much better picking out new clothes, or just walking around not embarassed of my body, but proud.

It's just good honest work, and everything is laid out for you – lots of structure, which is what I need. Look at the price of a gym membership and you'll realize what a great deal this is. It's such a minimal investment to become the fittest you've ever been.

Bring it!
