Dude - trust me, you don't need product. You know when you go surfing or swimming in the ocean your hair gets thicker and more textured? That's salt water.
Put some salt in a bottle of water, and before you get of of the shower pour some in your hair - don't rinse - just dry off. At least try this before you spend a penny on some branded chemicals.
It works better and it's so much better for your scalp.
Try Gillette Clean+Thick shampoo. It really does the job
As a physician and personal user, look into propecia for the really thin hair. It helped me a lot and many of my close friends have started using the medicine.
As for product, I personally also use aquage transforming paste. It works well and thickens slightly. Don't put It in completely wet hair though bc it will be really shiny and your hair will appear thinner because the strands will stick together. I usually dry my hair really well with a towel an then use a pea sized amount of the product and go with a slightly messy look.
I also have thin hair and have been searching for a product with a decent hold with a natural finish, without looking like I styled it for hours. I started using AXE Laidback Shaggy Look Cream, and I love it. I highly recommend it. My hair isn't stiff, greasy, or shinny. It's totally movable and holds all day. http://www.axehaircrisisrelief.org/product_page/
