MoMA's Spherical Ice Tray Set is only $16. It makes two 2-inch diameter ice balls.
Agreed - the spherical ice tray set is nice. Uncrate recently featured it along with some nice Japanese whiskey here"
Think Geek makes an Ice Orb Maker
I'm not sure if it's exactly what you're looking for, but it will make 21 "ice spheroids" that can either be removed and dropped into your delicious whiskey or kept in their tray to make a wine chiller.
If you're looking for another unique way to keep your drink cool without watering it down, try Think Geek's Whiskey Stones. If you freeze the rocks they won't melt as they warm and your drink doesn't get watered down at all.
If you want the straight-from-the-source version of Mitch's Whiskey Stones (above), they're actually made by a company called Teroforma (linked here: http://www.teroforma.com/istar.asp?a=6&id=00331!VTSOA). I have them, love them, and recommend them - unless you prefer your whiskey diluted, that is...
I agree with L.C. Uncrate covered the iceballs in this article. I personally think that those think-geek ice balls are pretty goofy looking compared to the MoMA ones.
