What is a good slim shoe comfortable enough for all-day wear without much fatigue?
I'm used to wearing Converse All-Stars, Vans Classic slip-ons, etc. I'm looking for a shoe with a similar slim-ness but with more comfort.
A lot of my friends sport Converse for footwear but I've never been one to follow the crowd. I would suggest trying PF Flyers for something with a pedigree like Chuck Taylors but still different. Produced by BF Goodrich in 1937 with the "Posture Foundation" they keep your feet comfy and stylish.

Puma is the way to go. These shoes are extremely comfortable and are stylish as well. My pair of Repli Cat II's have never served me wrong!

I used to wear Converse All-Stars all the time, but they weren't very comfortable. The Asics Onitsuka Mexico 66 has a low profile, leather upper, thin soles, and huge assortment of colors. It's perfect, which is why I have two pairs and counting. They were supposedly worn at the 1968 Mexico City Olympic Games.
Onitsuka Tigers by Asics, sleeker than regular Asics Euros with the same comfort. Definitely worth checking out.
Have you considered adding some nice insoles? I've got Superfeet Blues in my Converse All-Stars and they add the perfect amount of shock absorption and arch support. It's a great way to keep the classic look while upgrading to a modern feel.
Try Diesels. They are similar in style but way superior in comfort. I've had a pair of Diesel Paralex (green/grey) for a while and they rock.
