I like the look of some of the smaller lens Oakleys, but they stick way out on the sides and look ridiculous. Any recommendations for makes/models?
I second the recommendation for Smith. They have many styles that are tailored for narrow (and Wide) faces.
Funny that the toasters first came to mind for me as well, but they're not right for many faces. Luckily, Smith seems to release a new style everyday or two, so you should be able to find something to your liking.
Check out Mosley Tribes... They're a little more expensive, but a great option for smaller framed folk.

I would look at MyKita, there handmade in Berlin and are very light and of great quality. www.mykita.com
