What color shoes are best to wear with a navy blue suit?
I actually prefer a brown shoe with a navy blue suit. Dark brown during the winter time is best however during the spring a tannish brown shoe with a light colored shirt and pastel colored tie would definitely work. The contrast will really make your outfit pop!

A navy suit with black shoes is quite formal, a step below a black suit or a tux. Daniel is right, black or very dark brown (cordovan), no negotiating.
Step away from the black shoe. Dark brown goes with navy. Year round it's tried and true. Look for a Coffee or Dark Amaretto.
Depends on how formal.
Navy Blue and Black shoes would be best for an interview, otherwise dark brown is good.
(Never wear brown to an interview!)
Black is pretty standard but you can go with Brown as long as they are fairly dark shade of brown approaching black. Tannish brown will not work.
