Never reference female body parts, or sex like "Automatic Panty Dropper" for these will be automatic female repellant.

Do not reference money. That's just bad taste.

Do reference fun. And make it personal if you can't think of something clever.

Best female attractant? Get a head that is private and easy to operate.

When I was young, we had a 26' I/O called "Always Something." A very appropriate name for a boat, I've always thought.

If you're in law, you could always go with "The Watertight Alibi". Or you could stay classy and just find a ship that's part of the existing lore and use that name (I'm partial to Argo from the story of Jason and the Argonauts).

The best name would be one with personal significance and a good story behind it, as it's the sort of thing people will inevitably ask you about.

You bought the boat, you worked hard for it, you will have to continue working hard to maintain it. I feel that the best name is one that will capture who you are, how you live, and perhaps the amount of sweat and blood you invested to get the boat.

Some random ideas / examples:
Trust fund boat --> Easy Breezy
retirement boat --> 401K Plan
Successful Entrepreneur / Businessman --> Set Sale

Just some thoughts, but my belief is to let the boat reflect who you are, by means other than its size.

Also can go with parody or reference if that seems more fitting. Like the amazing boat in the movie The Island, the 118 Wallypower
Could name your humble boat 'Wanna Be Wally'.

A friend's family named their boat Inn Heaven.
They owned a few Holiday Inn Hotels. Of course, the name was painted like the Holiday Inn font on the sign.

Seafood is a good one if you're a Caddy Shack fan.
