What is the best iPod Dock/Alarm Clock?
I personally have the Polk I-Sonic ES2
It has a huge list of features like HD Radio, iPod dock (that works with all ipods including both iPhones), Meta Data displayed on screen, AM/FM, aux audio inputs, Video outputs (for playing Ipod video) alarm clock functions and something new to most people, iTunes tagging off of HD Radio. This allows you to click one button to save a song you hear to later download off of iTunes. Most importantly the sound quality is amazing. It puts out an abnormal amount of bass for a unit of it's size while still giving you perfect mid range, and terrific highs. It is on sale now for $399, normally $499.

I really like the Vers 1.5R. It has a really nice design to it with a wood shell that you can choose (bamboo, cherry, walnut, etc.) and a really simple design. Plus the speaker sounds great.

I received an iHome iH41BR as a gift and I haven't had any problems with it. It works with all iPods but is specifically designed for the iPod Touch or iPhone. The alarm clock rotates so you can have the iPod in portrait or landscape mode for watching movies/videos. The sound is decent for its size and you can pick one up at Amazon.com for around $60. It also has no problem charging the newer iPod Touch (a problem with some charging unites), it works great with my 32GB.

I've stayed at a bunch of hotels with the iHome iP9 and have enjoyed it so much I decided to get one for myself. Great sound quality, adjustable dock for all iPods/Phones, and the remote is handy.
