I like the “Groom Mate":http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000EBFJXS/uncrate-20 its small and should last pretty much forever seeing as there is no batteries or motors to worry about. It also doesn’t pull and cause your eyes to water like most of the electric ones out there
I have used the Norelco Nose and Ear Trimmer for about a year and it works great. Never pulls on hairs, never cuts me, I can just rinse it off in the sink.
It does everything I would want it to do.

Ditto on what Alan said about the "Groom Mate". It's also great if you travel because it's so small.
Hi, I like "the Bullet" similar to Groom mate but you get a neoprene case for it and the site blog is quite amusing too The Bullet bullet.tv

Regular safety scissors are the best for me. There are the really expensive ($30) ones from Rubis, but the $12 ones by Tweezerman work great.
I like the Panasonic Personal Trimmer $28 as it works perfect for those needed areas! The AA battery makes it portable although I don't personally find a need to take on the road! The Panasonic models seem to be upgrading so maybe I need to upgrade as well. Found at http://www.groominglounge.com/whnht.html
Real men use their fingers and just yank those suckers out. If you can't grab it, it's out of sight. Removes it from the roots so you don't have to do it as often.
=p
A pair of scissors. They're precise and - while not as efficacious as ripping your hairs out by the roots - easy to use.
Just like anything, it really depends on what type of trimmer you’d prefer.
If you’re wanting a manually-operated trimmer with no batteries, then the “Groom Mate Nose and Ear Trimmer”: http://www.groominglounge.com/nosehairtrimmer.html is probably for you. It’s small, sleek and made of stainless steel, so it’ll last for years to come. Super-easy to use, just twist and turn. Definitely does a great job of whacking creepy nose hair in the hard to reach spots.
If scissors are more your bag, then the Ace for Men Safety Scissors makes a solid cut that you’ll appreciate. Again, made of stainless steel, and the rounded blades won’t cut up your nostrils. Small and easily slips into your Dopp Kit when you travel.
Panasonic makes a line of great electrical trimmers, including a water-proof model that’s perfect for the shower. Try the “Panasonic Trimmer ER421KC”: http://www.groominglounge.com/panasonicnosehairtrimmerer421kc.html . Unlike a lot of electric trimmers, the “buzz” actually cuts nicely without pulling the hair which can hurt big time.
Hope that helps!
