Under the sink water filters are actually not the best filters at all. They waste a ton of water (4-10 gallons per gallon you can actually drink) and take out the healthy minerals. I recommend a whole house water filter. These are extremely environmentally friendly, require little maintenance, last a long time, and provide the cleanest, best tasting water around. Check out http://cleanwater.com/. This 3rd party site compares different water systems. I personally recomend Life Source Water. http://lifesourcewater.com. They have been in business 25 years and are the best company out there. Their smallest system lasts at least 15 years!!
