Depends what you mean by 'best'.

The Cambrionix 49 Port USB2.0 Hub is pretty hard to beat, if pricey.

I have personally had a D-Link USB hub for a few years now, and while I'm sure it has been replaced by later models the main thing you want to look for in a USB hub is that is is powered by an A/C adapter.

You do NOT want your PC powering the USB hub as if you have 5+ devices plugged in you might run into power supply issues.
