All roads lead to Rome.
When people talk of fashion or style, many times "Italian made" is heard shortly after. My personal favorite eyeglasses that come in many shapes, styles and colors and never go out of style are Persol's.
I have seen guys and gals in every age group rock a pair of these bad boys. Daniel Craig sported a pair playing James Bond in 'Casino Royale' just if you were beginning to question its 'cool' factor.
Prices range from $100-$200.
Here are the ones I have on order: http://www.otticanet.com/img/imgocchiali/100/img_art_PO_2737V_95.jpg

bestbuyeyeglasses.com has a HUGE selection of really great frames.
Lots of great frames here if you want classic and a little different from Moscot (which I also love)...
Shuron sells very retro glasses. I've got a pair of the Ronsir Zyl style, though the Sidewinder and Freeway styles are pretty ace as well.
I've got a huge cranium and finally settled on a pair of Oakley Muffler frames: http://www.oakley.com/pd/6263/22846
Took forever to get, though...they were out of stock for weeks.
Just FYI... the site Timpson suggested bestbuyeyeglasses carries Shuron at discounted prices.
I ordered mine from coolframes.com. Arrived on time and to specification. Alsosaved me lot of money over what the eyewear stored were trying to charge me.
Moscot, Shuron, and Salt are all great. Spectacles for Humans is located in SF, has a blog, and you can order glasses from them if you contact them through the blog. They have great customer service, are masters of their craft, and have great suggestions.
Orgreen make some truly amazing styles as well.
There are a lot of considerations when buying frames. I recommend you visit a few retailers in your area where it is possible to try on the frame to see how well they fit and most importantly look. I tried a website where you can upload your picture to get a virtual view....not worth it.
Try "Zenni Optical".http://zennioptical.com. They have a wide variety of styles, but their most compelling feature is that they supply prescription glasses for about 1/5 of what you would pay a U.S. optician. You deal with a stateside agent, but the glasses are made in Hong Kong. Turnaround time is about two weeks. I've ordered several pair from them and not gone wrong yet. My regular glasses are rimless models I paid $300-$400 for at optical shops like Costco and Lenscrafters. The same glasses were $65 at Zenni.
