What's a good leather notebook that I'd be proud to pull out at meetings etc? I'm thinking something that's one-time use -- i.e. when full, I put 'er up on my shelf as one volume in my collection of notes.
If money is not an issue, I suggest an Epica journal / notebook.
They're Italian leather and come lined and unlined. If you're looking for class, it's just about the classiest notebook ever. I've had a journal from them for 3 years and I am very very happy with it (hand-made Amalfi paper is awesome).
It is a little pricey, but you'll be noticed if you have one. You can also get your name (or anything) embossed on the cover in gold.
I love the "Rhodia Webnotebook" http://www.rhodiapads.com/collections_boutique_webnotebooks.shtml
Excellent paper, very smooth. I think it is miles ahead of moleskine. A little thick for a back pocket though.
I think Leuchttrum makes the most quality notebook on the market. Leather bound, it houses perforated sheets smaller than the standard bound sheets, in lined and grid to tear and place in between pages for side notes. Also the thicker leather cover makes the notebook feel stronger. A little more pricey than the Moleskines, but worth the quality.

Doane Paper has some solid options. Although not "leather" you can't beat the price!
They are not really leatherbound, but the Black n Red journals are really, really nice and look great as you start lining up a collection over the years.
Very well bound, pleasant to write in, and classy.

I like hande-made Manekibook notebooks.
They'ar italian, german, spain leather, replacement paper blocks(blank and lined), pretty design, many series from classic to special editions.
