Where can I get a good looking pair of ankle socks?

SmartWool makes the most comfortable socks, and they last a long time. The come in a variety of colors. They are a bit pricey, but you won't get blisters.

Are these for sports, or for everything else? Nike and other athletic brands make ankle or no-show socks. But if they're for regular wear, Banana Republic makes Loafer socks. They're no-show, so I don't know if that solves your problem.

Not sure the two are synonymous, but for running and playing sports I do like a good pair of ankle or "low cut" socks. If you're looking for bulk try your local Costco or Sam's Club. If you want top of the line (synthetic materials, moisture wicking, etc) try an R.E.I. or "boutique" running or sports store. Just be prepared to pay. Some socks can cost $15+ a pair.

i had this same problem for a while. in trying on tons of ankle socks, i finally settled on these:

black underarmour no show socks. the best ever.
get rid of those unsightly white socks. after finding these, i got rid of all my white costco socks and replenished my sock drawer with these. perfect for everytihng. running .. biking.. etc..
