Bell & Ross BR-X1 Tourbillon Sapphire Watch

Sapphire is commonly used to cover watch dials, and often, used on the opposite side to provide a view into the inner workings. The Bell & Ross BR-X1 Tourbillon Sapphire Watch goes one better by building its entire case out of sapphire. The process takes hours of machining and polishing just to make a single case, comprised of nine separate parts. In addition to its namesake Flying Tourbillion, it also has a mono-pusher chronograph function, both of which are highly visible thanks to the case. Rhodium plating on the markers and hands joins the Superluminova in creating a timepiece that almost glows in certain light. Finished with a strap made from translucent rubber and metallic Kevlar weaving.
