Hemisferio Criativo Nimbus E-Car

It might looks like a child's toy, but we'd happily spend our playtime behind the wheel of the Hemisferio Criativo Nimbus E-Car. This hybrid concept relies on a 180hp electric engine and lithium-ion battery to move around, with a micro combustion generator, solar panels, and regenerative braking to keep it charged up. This, combined with a strong, lightweight build made from carbon fiber, titanium, and aluminum, lets it achieve the equivalent of 180 mpg, while four selectable driving modes, ranging from Energy Saver to 4WD, adapt to the terrain. Add in the panoramic windows, room for up to five passengers, and well-appointed interior, and you have a concept we'd love to see become reality.

  • Buick Avenir Concept

You might not expect to be ushered into the future with a Buick, but that's exactly what happens when you set your eyes on the Avenir concept car. It's a big, all-wheel drive sedan that envisions a new flagship for the 112 year-old brand. The sophisticated look draws you in, with full LED exterior lighting, 21-inch wheels, and a new grille design. Inside, you're connected devices sync as soon as you fire up the next-generation V6 engine, complete with the Buick IntelliLink infotainment system and a 12-inch color touch screen. Named after the French word for future, the Avenir is a taste of things to come.

  • Mercedes-Benz F105 Autonomous Concept

There's no doubt that autonomous cars are coming sooner rather than later, but despite its allure, we don't expect to the see Mercedes-Benz F105 Autonomous Concept rolling off dealers' lots anytime soon. A concept in the true sense of the word, this streamlined car sports a lounge-like interior that allows all four occupants to face each other, with manual control available when necessary simply by spinning the driver's seat around. Other features include exterior LED fields to indicate control mode, a seamless, monolithic exterior, six display screens that respond to gestures, eye tracking, and touch, and a space-age interior made from walnut, Nappa leather, metal, and glass.
