New Era Heritage Caps

A lot has changed since New Era created its first baseball cap for the Cleveland Indians. Now you can recapture some of that old-school style with these New Era Heritage Caps. Each cap in the collection is made with period-correct melton wool, and offers details like flat embroidery — which was used from the late 1930s all the way up through the mid-'90s — a leather sweatband, and a commemorative red cap box that resembles the ones New Era used to use to ship their caps to the teams. They're a little piece of history, recreated.

  • Ellsworth & Clyde Magnetic Tie Bar

Some classic menswear items rarely receive an update — the oxford shoe, neckties, sport coats — and most don't need one. But the Ellsworth & Clyde Magnetic Tie Bar ($50-$70) proves that sometimes a little innovation in a time-honored staple is sorely needed. Doing away with the clumsy mechanical hinge, these tie bars use powerful magnets to hold your neckwear in place no matter how much you move or how hard the wind blows. Handmade from carefully-selected hardwoods, stained, and finished with durable leather instead of a hinge (and with two lengths on either side to suit any tie), these tie bars are as inventive as they are handsome.

  • Mujjo Leather Crochet Touchscreen Gloves

All too often any glove you find that also works with your smartphone ends up looking technical and a bit geeky — but not the Mujjo Leather Crochet Touchscreen Gloves ($100). They give you the best of both worlds, combing the ability to interact with just about every touchscreen out, while still looking sharp. Made from fine Ethiopian lambskin leather, the underside of these gloves gives you the comfort, warmth, and style you expect from a leather glove. The top side, made from Egyptian crocheted cotton, gives you plenty of flexibility, whether you're driving or fumbling in your pocket to take a call. Inside you'll find Mongolian cashmere lining, perfect for keeping away the chill, while still light weight enough to be comfortable.
