Scribner's Catskill Lodge

Located within Catskill State Park roughly two and a half hours north of NYC, Scribner's Catskill Lodge is a rustic getaway with modern charm. Originally opened in 1966 and recently renovated, it offers 38 guest rooms and suites, all of which offer dark maple floors, custom furniture, and free wi-fi. Others offer lofted bedrooms, balconies, and fireplaces. The lodge is also home to several indoor and outdoor meeting spaces, as well as Prospect, a locally-focused restaurant and bar.

  • The Warehouse Hotel

Originally built in 1895 along the Singapore River, The Warehouse Hotel is a fully-renovated accommodation that blends historical elements with modern amenities. Each of its 37 rooms offers Bang & Olufsen speakers, custom pillow-top mattresses, bath goods from Ashley & Co, and access to the rooftop infinity pool. Its massive main lobby has plenty of seating for taking in the architecture while you enjoy a drink from the bar, and the signature restaurant, Po, offers elevated versions of local staples.

  • Treehotel

Getting back to nature doesn't have to mean getting back to sub-par accommodations. The Treehotel offers seven unique treehouses, each built with an eye on sustainability. They include a mirrored cube, a UFO-shaped room, and a bright red building strangely named The Blue Cone. The latest addition is the aptly-named 7th Room, designed by Snohetta and featuring multiple rooms centered around a netted terrace, furthering the treehouse feel. Apart from the modern interior designs, the hotel also offers a tree-based sauna and hottub, various outdoor activities, and easy access to the restaurant in nearby Harads, Sweden.
