Vision Mercedes Maybach 6

Some concepts arrive road-ready. The Vision Mercedes Maybach 6 is not one of them. A dreamer's version of what a flagship Mercedes GT might look like, it has a low-slung, streamlined design that eschews the traditional tri-star in the grille and instead moves it above the hood. Details are scant ahead of its official Concours d'Elegance debut, but we do know it has an incredibly futuristic interior with heads-up displays, a swooping dash, and seats that blend both together and into the gullwing doors, as well as virtually zero chance of hitting the market in its current configuration.

  • Rolls-Royce Vision Next 100 Concept

What does a luxury car look like when there's no need for an engine, or a driver for that matter? The Rolls-Royce Vision Next 100 Concept is one answer. This pure concept car is fully autonomous and zero-emission, yet would still be hand-built to the specifications of its owner. A virtual assistant named "Eleanor" (after the model for the company's signature Spirit of Ecstasy) handles everything from setting your destination to reminding you of your daily schedule and briefing you on any meetings you might have. A transparent OLED screen sits in the front of the cabin to show you information or entertainment, which you can enjoy from the silk-covered couch. Finally, there's the glass roof that "flows fluidly as a daring fastback, creating a glass canopy over the occupants that provides privacy whilst allowing them to contemplate the majesty of the stars in the firmament above as they glide through the night; a window on the world ahead before resolving itself into the bonnet of the car," according to Rolls' not-at-all-pretentious press writer.

  • MINI Clubman All4 Scrambler

Inspired by the BMW R nineT Scrambler, the MINI Clubman All4 Scrambler borrows motorcycle style to add some attitude to Mini's largest offering. The modifications include a raised suspension, off road tires, a luggage rack fitting of a more rugged vehicle, and dual auxiliary lights that look exactly like the bike's headlamp. There's also a custom paint job in Frozen Gray and an interior wrapped in brown nappa leather and alcantara that matches the seat of the nineT perfectly. Unfortunately just a concept for now, we can only hope Mini Italy decides to share notes with the stateside counterparts soon.
