We'll readily admit that we've never played VKing ($100) before, but any game that includes battle axes, shields, and kings is cool with us. Based on an old, old Swedish Viking game, the object is to use your battle axes to bust all of your opponent's shields, and then conquer the king. As for the set itself, it's handcrafted in Vermont from hardwoods and includes 10 shields, 6 battle axes, 4 field markers, 1 king, a canvas storage bag, and, thankfully, a rule sheet. Our guess is it's probably a helluva drinking game as well, given that it was created by, you know, vikings.

  • Scotts MLB Authentic Collection Grass Seed

Love it or hate it, there's one thing about Major League Baseball we can all agree on: their groundskeeping is spectacular. The Scotts MLB Authentic Collection ($22/bag) aims to bring the lush grass of America's favorite ballparks to your own lawn, by providing you with actual grass seed varieties used at venues like Wringley Field, Fenway Park, and Great American Ball Park. For the sake of your neighbors, don't go overboard though — no one wants to see you spitting sunflower seeds out of a front yard dugout/bunker.

  • BearVault

Keep the Yogi and Boo-Boo types out of your goods with the BearVault ($80). Made from tough polycarbonate and designed to keep strong smells from escaping and luring in the unwanted wildlife, this clever container offers 700 cu. in. of interior storage, a rainproof lid with a bear-proof locking mechanism, and a dimpled exterior to keep it secured when going to and from camp. It's also approved by both the Sierra Interagency Black Bear Group and Interagency Grizzly Bear Committee, if you can believe such a thing exists.
