2007 Audi TT

2007 Audi TT

We've loved the TT since we saw our first one up close back in 1998. And while we lust after the car still to this day, it was definitely time Audi did a revamp. So when we got word that a new model was unveiled today we were very excited to see that Audi didn't disappoint. The new 2007 Audi TT ($TBA) is like a truly perfected version of its iconic predecessor. Such style. It's easily the sleekest sports coupe under $50K. In addition to the obvious design enhancements, the new TT comes with either a 200-hp 2.0l turbocharged four-cylinder engine or a 250-hp 3.2-liter V6 engine. A variety of high-tech options are available, including a motorized spoiler that extends at 75 mph, Bluetooth telephone functions, and a dynamic cornering light system. [More]

  • 2006 Porsche Cayman S

Stuck between the semi-girly boxer and the über-expensive 911, the 2006 Porsche Cayman S (starting at $59000) is in a market position other sports cars only dream of. The car’s mid-engine 3.4L six-cylinder powerplant produces 296 hp, enough ponies to propel the car from 0-60 in only 5.1 seconds with a top speed of 171 mph. The perfect Porsche for the young, affluent — but not yet rolling in cash — executive.

  • 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLK55 AMG

This isn't one of those girlie roadsters. The 2006 SLK55 AMG (starting at $62,300) offers crazy power, with its AMG-built 5.5L V-8 engine delivering 355 ponies and a 176-mph top speed. The added performance package includes 18" AMG two-piece alloy wheels and staggered-width tires, 13.4" disc brakes, carbon fiber trim, and AMG sport suspension with “Nürburgring” calibration. Sick.
