2009 Acura TL

Hitting showrooms this fall will be the all-new 2009 Acura TL ($TBA; Fall 08). Along with the angular new styling, the luxury sedan will feature the most powerful Acura engine ever. And while not much is known about the 09 TL, Honda has announced that it will be available in two versions, including the first ever application of Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) on the TL.

  • Volkswagen Passat CC

    The Passat is getting a much needed revamp later this year. In addition to an all-new, Benz-inspired design, the Volkswagen Passat CC ($TBA; Q4 2008) offers several innovative assistance systems, such as the Lane Assist lane keeping system; Dynamic Drive Control electronic chassis control system; Park Assist parking assistant; and ACC Automatic Distance Control with stopping distance reducing Front Assist. The CC, which VW calls its first four-door coupe, also sports a huge, electrically actuated Panorama power vent sunroof. The Passat CC will come standard with the 200-hp 2.0 TSI engine, available with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed Tiptronic transmission. You can upgrade to the 280-hp 3.6L FSI, which comes standard with the 6-speed Tiptronic transmission.   • 2009 Cadillac CTS-V

    Cadillac's hot rod luxury sedan gets even more power and tech goodies in the upcoming edition. The 2009 Cadillac CTS-V ($TBA) delivers a supercharged 550 horsepower, while its Magnetic Ride Control (shocks controlled by electro-magnets instead of mechanical valves) and racing-inspired Performance Traction Management program keeps you tight. The high-performance sedan also features new front and rear fascias, 6-piston Brembo brakes, 19-inch wheels wrapped in Michelin's Pilot Sport 2 (PS2) summer tire, and either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. Inside, you get 14-way adjustable Recaro driving seats, hand-stitched everything, and a navigation system with a 40GB hard drive, pop-up screen, and Bose digital surround audio. [More Photos]
