2010 Jaguar XJ

2010 Jaguar XJ

Yes, please. The 2010 Jaguar XJ finally stakes its claim as the world's sexiest luxury sedan. With a stunningly brilliant design, the new XJ sports a lightweight aluminium body structure, a panoramic glass roof, and your choice of three engines — a 5.0 liter V8 good for 385 hp ($72,500), a supercharged 5.0 liter V8 good for 470 hp ($87,500), and a Super Sport supercharged 5.0 liter V8 that's good for 510 hp ($112,000). The XJ features continuously variable damping (Adaptive Dynamics), electronically controlled rear differential (Active Differential Control), a quick ratio power-steering system, xenon headlamps, and blind spot monitor and front/rear parking aids. Inside the wood-adorned, sporty yet sophisticated interior are Virtual Instrument dials, a hard drive and media hub, along with an HD touch-screen display and an optional 1200W Bowers & Wilkins premium surround sound system.

  • Volkswagen CC

Looking for the utility of a Passat with the looks and handling of a sport coupe? The new Volkswagen CC ($27,000 and up) was made just for you. This 4-door coupe sports some of the most aggressive styling yet seen in a VW, and backs it up with either a 2.0L turbo four-cylinder or 3.6L, 280hp VR6 engine, optional 4motion all-wheel drive, and high-end features like adaptive headlights that turn with the car, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, an optional navigation system, and more. Think of it as a half-price Mercedes CLS.

  • 2009 Audi A4

Audi's 3-series and C-class competitor just got a whole lot better. The 2009 Audi A4 ($32,700 and up) starts with either an all-new 211hp 2.0L TSFI engine or a 265hp 3.2L FSI powerplant, and builds on it with loads of high-end, high-tech features like iPod integration, adaptive cruise control, Bluetooth, quattro all-wheel drive, and our favorite, Bi-Xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights. It's our new small luxe sedan of choice.
