2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8

Did you lose yourself in the latest "Imported from Detroit" Chrysler 300 ads only to find the engine selection more abhorrent than Eminem's awful Brisk commercial? The 2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8 ($TBA) should remedy the situation. Anchored by a 6.4-liter HEMI V-8 pumping out 465 horses, the new SRT8 also boasts a 25 percent fuel economy boost, paddle shifters to go with the console-mounted Auto Stick, an Adaptive Damping Suspension system to provide a sticky yet comfortable ride, seven-spoke, forged aluminum 20-inch wheels, Brembo brakes, a heated steering wheel, an 8.4-inch touchscreen display, and an available 900-watt, 19-speaker system from Harman Kardon that should do plenty of justice to whatever you're playing, whether it be rap or rock.

  • 2012 Audi A6

Not to be outdone by the 2011 A8, the new 2012 Audi A6 ($TBA) takes cues from its larger sibling while piling on the extras. Powered by either a gasoline or diesel engine with a hybrid in the works, the new A6 offers up to 300 hp and a top speed of 155, a choice of a six-speed manual, CVT, or seven-speed S-tronic automatic, and options for heated, ventilated, and massage seats, all-LED headlights, an ambient lighting system, 19-inch wheels, heads-up display, parking heater, MMI touch-based infotainment system, Bluetooth, a 15-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, and a ton of other gear that will make that base price seem like an Olympic high jumper.

  • 2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG

Who said sedans are boring? The 2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG ($TBA) is quite possibly the least-tame four-door we've seen this year. Powered by an all-new 5.5-liter biturbo V8 producing up to 550 hp, the CLS63 also boasts a AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed Sports Transmission that helps it go from 0-60 in as little as 4.3 seconds and up to a top speed of 186 mph, as well as 19-inch, five-spoke wheels, 14.2-inch internally ventilated and cross- drilled brakes on all four wheels, optional active LED high-performance headlights, more than a dozen driver assistance systems, and plenty of the other high-tech gear that you'd expect from a top-of-the-line Benz.
