The Maybach is dead; long live the Maybach. While MB might have shut down its ultra-luxury brand in 2013, a name with that much history — the company was founded in 1909 — can't be kept down for long. It's now reappeared in the 2016 Mercedes-Maybach S600, the new flagship Benz sedan. Powered by a 6.0L, V12 biturbo engine, it's certainly no slouch in terms of driving excitement, but as with its predecessors, it's more focused on rear-seat luxury, with an interior that's eight inches longer for increased rear leg room, two Executive Rear Seats boasting electronically adjustable calf support and a 43.5º incline angle, hand-stitched Nappa leather throughout the interior, optional seat buttons, pillows, and pillow stitching, seven unique interior packages, a standard rear seat entertainment package, and eight exclusive paint colors. Appropriately, champagne flutes come standard.
