28 Weeks Later
Being huge fans of 28 Days Later, we were expecting the worst for this sequel, which has a new cast and director. Surprisingly, 28 Weeks Later ($18) turned out to be, possibly, better than the original (as the quote on the DVD box says). Taking place six months after the Rage virus took over London, this post-apocalyptic/sci-fi/zombie horror film is perfect for an October night screening. The DVD includes deleted scenes, three featurettes, and a 28 Days Later: The Aftermath flash-animated graphic novel. If you haven't seen the first one, or want to own both, grab the 28 Weeks Later/28 Days Later 2-pack ($26).
