A Nightmare on Elm Street (Infinifilm Special Edition)
It's been over 20 years since we were all first scared shitless by a gruesome gentleman named Freddy Krueger. Forget the sequels, this groundbreaking Wes Craven original deserves more credit than it's gotten and a dedicated spot in your DVD collection. And just in time for Halloween, New Line is coming out with a new special edition A Nightmare on Elm Street DVD set ($19; Sept. 26). The 2-disc set is newly remastered with crisp picture and sound and comes with all-new special features, including alternate endings, fact track, featurettes, and filmmaker commentaries. Better stay awake for this.
