As worn by geek god and Digg founder Kevin Rose, the Adidas SL 72 ($65) brings some casual, vintage style to any occasion. They also come with their own built-in story — the sneakers were first offered way back in 1972 as a training shoe for the Olympic Village athletes — to give you something to talk about during awkward conversations.
