Alu Media Wall
Design Within Reach may have a different idea of what's within reach for most of us, but from time to time they come out with some standout exclusive products. The most recent that we have seen is the Alu Media Wall ($1400). It's a clever twist on the conventional entertainment center, designed expressly for flat-panel televisions. Your TV gets wall mounted to the media wall, so you don't need to tear up any sheet rock. As if a flat panel TV doesn't already scream modern, the Alu Media Wall will make it clear you're living in the 21st century. DWR says it fits up to a 47" TV, but we were able to skirt the rules and mount a 50" plasma on it just fine.
