Razor burn sucks, but it’s just something we men have to live with every once in a while — or is it? Razor Burn Repair from Anthony ($22) claims to work magic on your irritated face with a blend of marshmallow, aloe vera, chamomile, St. Johns Wort, ginseng, and vitamins A, C, and E. This hodgepodge of ingredients reduces irritation and stinging, and helps to protect your skin. We recommend picking some of this stuff up. Or you could just grow a ZZ Top beard and forget about it. Your decision.
Finally there's an electric shaver that's made just for guys and their sensitive areas. The Bodygroom ($34) was created for your armpits, chest, back, legs, and, um, ah the hell with it — your pubes. It comes with an attachment for just trimming or it can safely shave you to the skin. It's waterproof so you can use it in the shower or while dry. Unfortunately, we haven't found a place that sells it in the U.S. or anywhere that will even ship to the U.S. So while the blokes in Europe will have a clean groin, we'll still be suffering. Update:Amazon.com is now selling it in the U.S.
We're not ready to shave off our golden locks just yet, but that won't stop us from showing you (and our two balding buddies who've already made the Mr. Clean move) the HeadBlade. A winner of Time magazine's 10 Best Designs of 2000, the HeadBlade is the "easiest way to shave your head without risking cuts." It features a "lead with the blade" design that lets you use all of your fingers to guide the razor. Less time, less blood. The HeadBlade works with Gillette Atra, Schick Ultrex, and Super II blade cartridges.
