If you're a little concerned about the forthcoming robot uprising, you'd be smart to not get a functioning one. The fact is, the best robots in the world don't do anything. Over 30 one-of-a-kind robots are currently for sale, with each one taking about a month to build. They're made from found objects — from places including "garbage dumps, basements, construction sites, and garage sales" — and range in height from 12 to 37 inches. So when your buddy's Beerbot turns violent in 2010, you'll still be able to sleep well at night knowing your foot-tall friend doesn't have a brain.
