It's pretty tough to make a Black and Tan at home, but the Brutul Lagerhead Black and Tan Turtle ($9) is here to help. Just place him over your half-filled glass, pour the stout over his rounded back and you'll have a perfectly layered beer. He also
doubles as a bottle opener.
We had a little "warm-up party" at our place before heading out on New Year's eve. This clear glass vodka set ($40) will help make our next get-together a little more classy.
It’s a rare event that you get a chance to drink your suds from a glass that still reminds everyone of what it is you are drinking. The Beer Glasses from Elsewares ($25 for 4) are made in Wisconsin from recycled Mexican “Sol” beer bottles. We were going to make a witty comment about the difference between beer goggles and beer glasses, but the product page beat us to it. Oh well, we like to buy our items from places with a sense of humor.
