Thirty years of producing the same car is quite the milestone — and while it's gone through many changes, the heart and soul of the M5, as a powerful business-class sedan, has remained pretty much intact. In recognition of this anniversary, BMW have announced a limited edition run of the BMW 30 Jahre M5. Based on the current model, this one boasts some significant performance enhancements including a bump up to 600 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque, making it the most powerful M5 ever made. Limited to just 300 units, this M5 will be available to reserve starting at the end of May.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with the standard Audi RS7, what with its five doors, low-slung body, and quattro all-wheel drive. But if you're looking for something above and beyond the standard model, the Audi RS7 Dynamic Edition should be just what you're looking for. It's powered by the same twin-turbo, 4.0L TFSI V8, producing 560 hp and a 0-60 time of just 3.7 seconds, but adds Audi's Dynamic Ride Control suspension, a sport exhaust, 21-inch wheels, a carbon fiber front splitter, rear diffuser, and engine cover, and new interior options like honeycomb-stitched leather sport seats, red seatbelts and contrast stitching, and more carbon fiber inlays.
Whether you've been receiving death threats or are simply rich and paranoid, the Audi A8 L Security is the vehicle for you. Arriving directly from the factory with a host of security features built-in, this rolling passenger tank boasts class VR 7 ballistic protection and explosion resistance, making it impervious to both "NATO sub-caliber ammunition" and military hand grenades. It also features an armor-plated communication box in the trunk, as well as optional emergency exit, fire extinguisher, and fresh-air systems. Of course, it's still an Audi, and as such is loaded with luxurious interior appointments, one of two powerful engines, and full-time quattro all-wheel-drive — which can come in quite handy when fleeing a steady stream of assassin's bullets.
