BMW M3 Concept

BMW M3 Concept

When it comes to sport coupes, there are few more revered than the BMW M3. The new BMW M3 Concept ($TBA) carries on that tradition with stats like a V8 engine with two air intakes, 19-inch light alloy wheels, M3-specific body moldings, and a roof constructed of carbon fiber reinforced plastic. No word yet on when the production model of this concept will be available, but we can't wait to test drive it — which is unfortunately the only way we will ever get to touch this car.

  • Ford 2007 Airstream Concept

Although it seems like there is a new crossover vehicle announced every week, we've never seen one like this. The Ford 2007 Airstream Concept ($TBA) is instantly recognizable thanks to reflective paint, and a part airplane, part Airstream trailer design. The real beauty is under the hood, however. The vehicle is powered by a plug-in hydrogen hybrid fuel cell — named HySeries Drive — that operates under electric power and delivers the fuel economy equivalent of 41 miles per gallon.

  • Toyota FT-HS Hybrid Sports Concept

At next month's Detroit Auto Show, Toyota will unveil this stunning concept sports car that would be powered by a 400-hp hybrid powertrain. Sporting super aggressive styling, the Toyota FT-HS Hybrid Sports Concept ($35,000 est.) is envisioned as a coupe to replace the retired Supra, with a 0-60 target of 4 seconds. A 3.5-liter V6 engine would deliver most of the power, while an electric motor will provide fuel-efficiency. It'll sport a unique retractable roof and an ultra-futuristic interior. Let's pray to the car gods that this one gets made.
