Canada Goose Expedition Parka
When it comes to extreme cold weather conditions, you could do worse than buying a jacket with an official "Arctic Program" patch. The Canada Goose Expedition Parka ($589) has been worn at the McMurdo Station in Antarctica for over 20 years, and is worn in the South Pole every year by the National Science Foundation division of Polar Research. It features a Teflon-treated poly-cotton Arctic Tech outer shell; all duck down filled body, sleeves, wind flap and hood; a 100% down-proof nylon lining; and four bellows pockets with velcro flaps and side entry hand warmer pockets.
