Casa Dragones Tequila

Casa Dragones Tequila

Handmade in small batches, Casa Dragones Tequila ($330) is not your average booze. Each bottle is finished by a Maestro Tequilero, mixing platinum tequila with a dab of extra añejo for an incredibly smooth taste. Delivered in a handcrafted, reusable crystal decanter, it's meant for sipping, not shooting, and although it may taste great, it'd be a damn shame for it to wind up in a margarita mix.

  • Maestro Dobel Tequila

If you've got a passion for tequila, you can't do much better than Maestro Dobel Tequila ($75). This hand-crafted tequila is the first-ever diamond-clear tequila, thanks to a proprietary blending and filtration technique. Made from hand-selected agave (picked from the volcanic lowlands of the Jalisco region), Maestro Dobel is actually the combination of three different aged tequilas — Reposado (rested 15 months), Anejo (rested 24 months), and Extra-Anejo (rested for 36 months). For a special feel, each sleek, metallic-bottomed bottle is filled and labeled by hand and then individually numbered.

  • 1800 Select Silver Tequila

Touted as "the world's smoothest 100 proof, 100 percent Agave super premium Tequila," 1800 Select Silver Tequila ($69) can definitely be called crisp, clean and, yes, smooth. 1800 Select Silver is double-distilled for clarity and blended with a touch of aged tequila (a process unusual for a silver tequila). It comes packaged in a great glass bottle with a glass stopper that doubles as a shot glass.
