If you're not ready to drop a couple grand on your first Omega, maybe it's time you started looking at vintage watches. A great choice is this Citizen Japan Bullhead Chronograph Watch ($160). Made sometime in the 1970's, this unique watch (crown and pushers on top) features automatic 23 jewel 8110 movement, 3 subdials (day/date, 30 minute and 12 hour), and a new stainless steel bracelet. We've had ours (pictured above) for a couple weeks now, and we couldn't be happier. Hurry if you want one — the eBay seller we bought ours from
only has six left, and he has completely disassembled and reconditioned each one. Ours arrived looking brand new. Also, for those with smaller wrists, vintage watches like this one are terrific. Believe it or not, they used to make watches that looked like watches — as opposed to the hubcap-sized pieces sold today.
