Striking just the right balance of class and casual sensibility, the Cole, Rood & Haan Co. Hoofer Shoe ($330) is a damn-near perfect accompaniment for a dressy denim-based ensemble. Available in a reddish brown cognac or black, the Hoofer offers an oxford design wit medallion toe, a skeleton leather-lined upper, a Goodyear welt, antique brass heel tacks and eyelets, and hidden elasticized goring for going laceless — although as good as they look with the included light tan laces, we're not really sure why you'd want to.
