Music videos have become an accepted form of art in the last 20 years or so, but although MTV has their contrived VMA’s, there really hasn’t been a lot of appreciation shown to the directors behind the camera of these mini-movies — until now. The Director's Label Series Boxed Set Vol. 2 ($56) is the second installment of a series of DVDs designed to showcase the work of today’s most innovative filmmakers. This time around are Mark Romanek (NIN’s “Closer”), Jonathan Glazer (Massive Attack’s “Karmacoma”), Anton Corbijn (Nirvana’s “Heart Shaped Box”), and Stéphane Sednaoui (U2’s “Mysterious Ways”).
