Dodge Charger SRT8

Dodge Charger SRT8

Yes, "Grab life by the horns" is a stupid slogan. But this beast makes up for it. The 2006 Dodge Charger SRT8 ($39,000 est.) is a true muscle car. It boasts a 425-horsepower 6.1-liter HEMI V8 engine good enough for 0-60 in about 5 seconds and a quarter-mile time in the 13-second range. The Charger offers 20-inch aluminum wheels with high-performance F1 Goodyears, a functional hood scoop, dual 3.5-inch exhaust tips, and your youth.

  • Corvette Z06

You're looking at the fastest Corvette ever. It packs 505-horsepower and can do 0-60 in just 3.7 seconds while still in first gear. Starting at $65,800 and when compared to other supercars, the Corvette Z06 (starting at $70,000) is why they invented the saying more bang for your buck. It was developed alongside the Corvette C6.R race car and is built with lightweight materials like carbon fiber, aluminum, titanium and magnesium to maximize the ponies. The car also boasts a more aggressive front end with cold-air scoop, wider front and rear fenders and a taller spoiler.

  • Honda Civic Si HFP

As you become slaves readers of Uncrate, you'll learn that we love Hondas — and especially Civics (we've owned no less than five between us). Our current favorite (until the 2006 Si comes out this fall) is the Civic Si with the Honda Factory Performance package (HFP). While it only slightly perks up the 160-HP engine, the HFP package adds a hatch spoiler, a complete underbody kit, a lowered suspension, and 17-inch gunmetal color alloy wheels. The interior gets the carbon fiber treatment, an aluminum shift knob, and red highlights that scream Type R (the holiest of Hondas). Unfortunately, the HFP package will add about $4,000 extra to the Civic Si base price of $19,320.
