Fantastic Mr. Fox
It may not have beaten Up at this year's Oscars — honestly, we would have been shocked if it had — but that doesn't mean Fantastic Mr. Fox ($18-$25) is any less worthy of repeated viewings. Based on the book by Roald Dahl, Mr. Fox is surprisingly directed by Wes Anderson, who went outside of his normal comfort zone to employ the use of stop-motion animated characters, voiced by an all-star cast including George Clooney as the title character, Meryl Streep, Bill Murray, Owen Wilson, and Anderson regulars. Smart, funny, and highly unusual, it sure as hell beats watching another installment of Ice Age, Spy Kids, or whatever the kiddie dreck of the month happens to be.
