Ghost Town
Even though it got surprisingly good reviews and stars the loveably detestable Ricky Gervais, Ghost Town ($20 DVD; $28 Blu-ray) seemed to slip through the cracks this year. While the premise (man dies, resuscitated, sees annoying dead folks, hilarity ensues) sounds like another throw-away comedy, Gervais along with his co-stars and the movie's writers have made a great romantic comedy (with ghosts) that we're not afraid to recommend. Go ahead and Netflix this one and make your girl happy this weekend.
