While they may not be the greatest looking headphones in the world — they kinda look like they just stepped out of a 60’s music studio — what they lack in beauty they make up for in outstanding sound quality. The SR60 Headphones from Grado ($70) feature a vented diaphragm, a non-resonant air chamber, and a standard copper voice coil wire — plus they’ve been awarded two Stereophile “Product of the year” awards, and while we love our music and consider ourselves pretty good judges of sound clarity and quality, who are we to argue with them?
