Opening for The Killers before you even release your first LP is normally a good sign. And indeed, things are looking up for the Neon Trees, whose debut Habits ($8) is an interesting mix of traditional rock guitars and dance-friendly beats. With a lead singer that cites both the Boss and the King of Pop as favorite artists, you'd expect a pretty eclectic sound, and the Trees don't disappoint, perfecting the mixture to make for an easily enjoyable, party-ready summertime album.
